OUR STORY
Polly has been an artist all her life, specialising in watercolour and acrylic painting. Her delicate yet dynamic style has been published in books, magazines, and newspapers, always celebrating the beauty of wildlife and landscapes. Her paintings capture fleeting moments — the curve of a bird in flight, the stillness of a woodland scene, the endless movement of the sea.

Chris began his career as a trawlerman before becoming an Architect, but his love for wildlife and making soon led him into sculpture. Working stainless steel and primarily copper, he uses wax and acid techniques to create striking patinas in blues and greens that echo the colours of the ocean. His sculptures — often sea animals, birds, and marine life — bring together the precision of architecture with the organic spirit of nature.
For more than 25 years, Polly and Chris have shared their work at the Brighton May Festival and exhibited at art events across the UK. Their travels have taken them around the world, from diving with sharks and whales in New Zealand to exploring coral reefs teeming with colour. Each journey deepens their respect for nature and provides fresh inspiration for their paintings and sculptures.

Through Art @ 202, Polly and Chris invite you to share in their story — a celebration of wildlife, the sea, and the landscapes that continue to inspire their lives and their art.
